2016 Main weddings are some of my favorite in downtown Kansas City. The venue is a gorgeous mix of urban, industrial, and modern with plenty of greenery and twinkly lights. The possibilities for photos around the crossroads in downtown Kansas City are endless.
I'm thrilled to show you a preview of Kirsten and Jerrod's 2016 Main wedding! We started the day with getting ready at the Westin Crown Center followed by an amazing first look on the rooftop. That roof is amazing! You're able to see the entire skyline, so it was a perfect backdrop for these two.
After the first look, we boarded the trolley and hit up some of the best locations in downtown Kansas City, including Liberty Memorial, the Kauffman Center, and the Freight House.
Kirsten and Jerrod, along with their entire wedding party, were a blast to hang out with. After we made our way back to 2016 main before the ceremony, Kirsten asked if they can run in the middle of the street. Any couple who is willing to risk their lives for the perfect shot are my kind of people. Kidding, we were safe and waited for red lights, but still we ran through traffic multiple times. I even almost got hit by a street car. True story. Worth it for the perfect shot though!
We ended the night with ice cream! Betty Rae's ice cream truck made an appearance and all their guests couldn't wait to grab their cup.
Thanks Kristin and Jerrod for a fun 2016 Main wedding! Here's your full preview!
