7. Berry Acres
Berry Acres and I go way back. I first discovered this venue before I was even planning my own wedding and I fell in love. This was before I even had the chance to visit the space. I loved it because of pictures alone...and they had fireworks. Fireworks really won me over. I was brainstorming ways to work at Berry Acres, so I decided to put together a mini styled shoot. This was my first styled shoot ever! Looking back on it, I totally did things wrong. All I had were models (who brought their own clothes), a friend doing hair and makeup, and a bouquet. We didn't even have a florist on set. Regardless, it still gave me a taste of all the beautiful shoots to come.
Shortly after my pretend styled shoot, I covered another event and shot a real wedding. Our paths have crossed quite a bit in the last couple years and I'm gearing up for another wedding there this October. The staff is incredible. It's one of the best wedding venues in Kansas City because they really go above and beyond for all their couples. I can't wait to work at Berry Acres much more in the future.

6. Executive Hills Polo Club
This is one of my newest favorites on this list, but after shooting at Executive Hills Polo Club for the first time a couple weeks ago, I have fallen in love. The outside is so green and the inside is so white and elegant. I'm excited to work at Executive Hills Polo Club a couple more times this year since it is one of the best wedding venues in Kansas City!

5. The Legacy at Green Hills
I've mentioned how much I love outdoor venues, well The Legacy at Green Hills is completely outdoor. I love how even the reception is outdoors, so we can still get beautiful natural light shots during the reception. There's also a hidden lake that doubles as the most beautiful portrait location making it one of the best wedding venues in Kansas City. We've had the most incredible light every time I've shot at The Legacy at Green Hills.

4. The Farms at Woodend Springs
I was actually introduced to this venue by accident when I had a last-minute change to a styled shoot location last Fall. The wedding planner for the shoot had toured The Farms at Woodend Springs a couple days prior. When it was raining on the day of our outdoor shoot, we made the call to move indoors to The Farms at Woodend Springs. Since then, I had the privilege of working one wedding this year and I have another coming up in 2020! The natural light in the reception hall is absolutely gorgeous and I love how this venue is the definition of rustic elegance. If you're looking for an elegant barn, this is the venue for you.

3. The Pavilion Event Space
Another beautiful outdoor venue on the list. The open-air chapel at the Pavilion Event Space is one of a kind. Seriously, there's nothing else like it in the area. Once you get enough (no such thing) of the outside, the inside transports you to an elegant ballroom complete with chandeliers and gorgeous decor. One of my favorite parts of the venue is the ability to have your first dance on a cloud. Only a few venues in the area offer you such a dreamy moment. The owner, Kacie, and her staff are also incredible and will go above and beyond to give you the wedding of your dreams. If you don't follow them on Instagram, you should. You'll watch them build custom pieces of decor for their couples every weekend!

2. 1890 Event Space
I am a sucker for anything outdoors, and 1890 has such a gorgeous outdoor area. I've had the privilege of interacting with the GM, Chelsea, multiple times and she is the best. There are two venues on the 1890 property, the newest one being The Fields. If you want to host an absolutely gorgeous outdoor ceremony, the Fields is where it's at. Hello rolling hills and tons of greenery! Both venues have very different moods. 1890 is very elegant, complete with tons of natural light, while the Fields is more rustic. Both venues are gorgeous and work perfectly for any type of wedding!

What are the best wedding venues in Kansas City?
After getting engaged, typically the first step is booking a venue. So, I'm dedicating this post to the 7 Best Wedding Venues in Kansas City.
I'm often asked about the best venues in Kansas City, and since I've had the pleasure of working at so many incredible locations, I decided to compile a list. Whenever I get an inquiry at these venues, I'm jumping with excitement because I know I will be able to work with so many incredible people at a beautiful location.
To venues not on this list: I love so many of you, but I'm dedicating this list to venues I've worked with multiple times. Interested in joining the list? Let's collaborate!
To brides looking for a venue: If you book one of these venues, you'll get $200 off any photography package if you book my services as well. I love working at these locations, so I want to give you a gift for choosing such a gorgeous Kansas City venue. Just mention this post!
7 Best Wedding Venues in Kansas City
In no particular order, let's begin:

1. Enchanted Acres Wedding Venue
This venue will always hold a special place in my heart because this is where I got married! I chose this venue because of its gorgeous outdoor landscape. Before having my own wedding here, I had the privilege of photographing multiple shoots on the property. I'll never tire of the gorgeous lake or green arbor. This venue is for the outdoorsy bride who wants the freedom to create her dream wedding. At Enchanted Acres, you're able to bring all your own vendors and make the space your own. Also, let me say one more word: bouncy castle. That's why it's one of the best venues in Kansas City!

2. 1890 Event Space

2. 1890 Event Space
