Erin and Devin had an absolutely incredible wedding on Saturday at Abe & Jake's Landing in Lawrence, Kansas. If I were to describe their entire day in one word, I would have to say organic.

From the florals to the feeling, everything about their day was organic. When I first talked to Erin about their day, she started talking about how important the flower arrangements would be. A lot of brides love flowers, but I didn't put together how much the florals really meant until I saw ALL the arrangements. The bouquets were hand grown by neighbors and family members. The flowers were planted, picked, and arranged by family. So much work went into the florals that we couldn't help but all get teary-eyed when Erin talked about her grandmother, whose garden served as inspiration for the whole organic concept.

On top of the beautiful decor, I need to take a moment to discuss the incredible father/daughter dance. Why slow dance when you can jam out to "Forever" by Chris Brown. Erin brought her entire family out for this choreographed dance. Seriously, I have never seen a better milestone dance.

Thanks so much for having me Erin and Devin!!! Special thanks to Devin for tolerating picture taking despite his strong hatred toward it 🙂 Here's your full preview!!!

Share your inspiration and the atmosphere you're creating for your wedding:
Colorado wildflower field mixed with my grandma's garden.
Share how (or why) you chose your wedding venue(s):
We picked our venue because it was large enough for the ceremony and reception. Plus, Abe and Jakes has its own vibe and on the river!
What is your most valuable piece of advice you can share with future couples planning their wedding?
Elope lol.
To not get caught up in the details, set your theme or must haves and then go with the flow.
What was your favorite part of the planning process?
The flowers and meeting you! So glad we were able to book you, your blog and Facebook photos keep me focused on the positives. (awwwwwww, appreciate you Erin!)
