Erin and Melissa had such a wonderful two part engagement session. The first part was at Sar Ko Par Trails Park for an impromptu proposal by Melissa followed by their official Antioch Park engagement session.
The first part came about at the last minute because Melissa wanted to surprise Erin with her newly resized engagement ring. Erin had no idea it had arrived, so Melissa thought it would be perfect to re-propose on their four-year anniversary. You'll have to read their full engagement story below because it is priceless.
On Sunday, we were dealing with sweltering heat, but that didn't stop these two from laughing through their entire session. With the help of lots of water bottles and cold towels, we poured through and created these fun images.

How did they propose?
Last summer (2022) we traveled to Brazil to celebrate some family friends. They have a beautiful house overlooking an amazing valley and there's a park up the street from their house. I convinced Melissa to go for a walk and when we got there I said I wanted to take a picture with the stunning view. Little did she know that I had already walked up there with my mom, picked out the spot, and figured out that I could prop my phone up on a bench to capture the whole thing. While she was taking in the view I walked up and got down on one knee. She was totally shocked and honestly just kind of froze! Once Melissa was able to speak again finally, she said yes! I texted my parents to come up to the park to celebrate with us, and when they got there they surprised us both by pulling out the ring Melissa had gotten for me more than a year earlier. They walked away and Melissa then proposed to me, and I obviously said yes. So we had a double proposal!
Question for Erin: what do you love most about Melissa?
I love Melissa's tenacity. She has faced many hardships and constantly takes on new challenges because she is so brave. She cares deeply and loves fiercely and she makes sure I know how much she loves me.
Question for Melissa: what do you love most about Erin?
I love Erin's big heart and her generosity. She is constantly helping other people and animals. Her heart seriously has no bounds. She loves me in a way that makes me feel protected, safe and heard.
What's your favorite part about wedding planning?
Getting to do it together and imagining our big day all how we've planned.
What are you looking forward to most about your big day?
Erin: Being with all of our favorite people celebrating us and our love/relationship, also FOOD
Melissa: Getting to declare our love in front of the people that are most important to us, being vulnerable like that even though it's scary.
