Fall engagement season is winding down and the beautiful colors are turning all shades of brown. Oh well! We still had just enough color to make Kiley and Sam’s Antioch Park Fall engagement session something truly beautiful.

Antioch Park engagement session

Antioch Park is one of my favorite places to take couples for engagement pictures because it is super close to my house and there’s so much variety. It’s almost like a less busy version of Loose Park.

I know I’ve said this a lot lately, but we could not have asked for better weather. I’m loving the 60 degree weekends we’ve had lately! Can it stay this nice through the winter? Please!

These two were so fun to hang out with. It was so obvious how much Kiley and Sam love each other, from making silly faces during serious poses to laughing uncontrollably throughout the majority of the session. Thank you for spending your Sunday with me and I can’t wait for your Halloween wedding next year at one of my favorite venues, Legacy at Green Hills!

Hear from the couple –

How did he propose?

We were in Colorado Springs visiting Kiley’s family. We were at Garden of the Gods with my brother and his family taking pictures. As we were headed back to the car, we walked by this beach white rock and Kiley wanted to see it a little better. So as I was standing there looking at it, Sam got down on one knee. It was perfect and my brother and his wife were able to get pictures and a video.

Question for the bride: what do you love most about him?

I love that he has seen the “ugly” side of me, and he still loves me and thinks I’m the most amazing person in the world.

Question for the groom: what do you love most about him?

I love that she is willing to do anything to make me happy. She will go places and do things she wouldn’t normally just to see me have a good day.

What’s your favorite part about wedding planning?

Being in a decision making role for a wedding.

What are you looking forward to most about your big day?

Getting to spend the rest of my life with my best friend.

Thanks for visiting!

A little bit about me:

  1. I describe my style as real and vibrant. I focus on bright colors and incredible sunsets. I will force you to break away from your reception during sunset for pictures. You won’t regret it!
  2. I’m a huge animal lover. I own three cats and volunteer whenever I can at an animal shelter. If you ask if you can bring a pet to your engagement session, you will become my new best friend.
  3. I’m a newlywed, so I understand the wedding planning struggle!
