It was freezing drizzle literally all day, but that didn’t stop Jordon and Kash from having a blast. Jordon and Kash were married at Berry Acres in Odessa, Missouri. Berry Acres is one of my absolute favorite venues. You’ll see why from the photos. You can dance on a frickin cloud. How awesome is that? The whole venue is absolutely beautiful. I just wish we had a sunset because you can see for miles on top of the Hilltop. It really is incredible, but oh well. Despite nearly freezing to death in 15 degree weather, we were still able to get some awesome outdoor portraits.

The day started like any other wedding day. Jordon began getting ready in the incredible Berry Acres bridal suite. Kash arrived a bit later to his own groom’s suite complete with a foosball table and all the fixings.

Jordon and Kash had their first look outside Berry Acres and exchanged gifts. Following, Jordon also did a first look with her dad and Kash’s parents.

The ceremony was probably one of the most beautiful ceremonies I have ever experienced. Since Jordon and Kash are both part of the Air Force, the Honor Guard was there for the ceremony. It was such an incredible sight. Additionally, there were so many emotions during the ceremony. Both Jordon and Kash could hardly contain their tears and excitement. I doubt there was a dry eye in the audience.

After the ceremony, we jumped into a few more portraits followed by the most incredible reception entrance. The room filled with smoke as Jordon and Kash entered and danced to Ed Sheeran’s ‘Perfect.’ So amazing!

The rest of the night was a blast. The entire family and wedding party danced the night away. It was obvious how much Jordon and Kash loved spending time with their families. Jordon even danced with Kash’s dad and Kash danced with Jordon’s mom. I have never seen this before at a wedding!

The night concluded with an incredible sparkler exit. I love sparkler exits so much. You seriously can’t get a bad sparkler exit picture! I would also like to give a special shout out to my amazing assistant who followed Jordon and Kash with a light stand while I captured these images. I couldn’t have done it without her!

Thank you again Jordon and Kash for allowing me to be part of your incredible day at Berry Acres! Keep an eye on your email since your full gallery will arrive by the end of the week!

Share your inspiration and the atmosphere you’re creating for your wedding.

We want to have a close, family environment. Everyone at the wedding means a lot to us so this is a time for everyone to meet friends and some family. It should be very fun and feel like home to us with everyone there!

Share how (or why) you chose your wedding venue(s).

We chose the Berry Acres because the Berry family is so sweet and welcoming. They fully supported every plan and thought we had and made it happen! We absolutely love everything about it; from the look of the venue, to the family and staff running it to the location!

What is your most valuable piece of advice you can share with future couples planning their wedding?

Don’t stress about the little stuff. At the end of it all, you two will be married and that’s what matters, right? 🙂

What was your favorite part of the planning process?

My favorite part of the wedding planning was picking the venue! Going to open houses and exploring our options was so fun!
