Am I wrong in assuming we should have decent weather in April? Ugh, I’m so over this “Spring.” Despite the 30 degree weather and 20 mph winds, Chelsee and Joel had a great session. We explored Burr Oak Woods, which is one of my favorites. Although it isn’t very versatile, it’s unlike ay other park in the area. I can’t wait to explore some of the hidden trails when the weather gets much better.

I first met Chelsee over the summer while Joel was deployed. You could tell how much they cared for each other without even being in the same country. We video chatted Joel through out the entire consultation. It was awesome to see him so interested in wedding planning while serving the country. When I officially met both of them together in December, their love was so obvious. They are adorable together and it is so much fun watching them interact naturally. Even though we were battling freezing temperatures, they were troopers and did not stop smiling through the entire session. I was smiling like crazy looking through all the adorable images we were able to capture.

Their August wedding will be incredible. I can’t wait!

How did he propose?

“He proposed on the starting line at one of my quad races in Carlisle in front of all my friends family and strangers. It was so sweet and nerve wracking that I gave him my wrong hand.”

Question for the bride: what do you love most about him?

“How compassionate he is, his smile, how he is always willing to lend a helping hand to any one in need. How he can make even my most hectic day calm. no matter what he always makes me laugh if I’m having a bad day. And no matter the situation or how far away, he is he always makes me feel safe. He is Truly my rock.”

Question for the groom: what do you love most about her?

“Her smile the way she laughs how she make me feel the way she takes care of and supports me how big her heart is and how she can overcome just about any obstacle.”
