Let me tell you about the most fun engagement session ever. Morgan is one of those brides who I met and instantly bonded with. She was actually a referral from a past bride (who I loved as well), so I was so glad when she contacted me.

Our engagement session was so awesome. We met at Burr Oak Woods in Blue Springs and I quickly realized I wouldn’t have to do much posing. Morgan and James were comfortable interacting with each other and having a great time.

They brought several different outfits. The first one was traditional, followed by Star Wars/Harry Potter attire, and concluded with sports shirts. With the Star Wars/Harry Potter attire, they came prepared with a lightsaber and wand. I snapped away as they fake fought. We all couldn’t stop laughing.

How did you meet and how long have you been together?

James and I met 11 years ago and didn’t even realize it! We worked together at oceans/worlds of fun. (There is a random picture of us together) we reconnected a little over 2 years ago because of mutual friends and Facebook.

How did he/she propose?

We went on a staycation to Westin (one of my favorite places) we stayed at the historical Weston Inn. We were going out for the night at OMalleys Irish underground pub. When we got back to the room there was champagne waiting. James told me he had something for me and we were going to play hot or cold until I found the ring box. I pretty much blanked out from happiness after that ??

Question for the bride: what do you love most about him?

What I love most about James is his caring nature and ability to laugh at everything. He also loves my daughters as they were his own. I love how hard he works for everything he has.
