Crossroads Engagement | Jessi + Hayden
This is a Spring of Crossroads engagement sessions and I love it! The Crossroads are the perfect location for any couple wanting an urban experience.

We actually started the session at a park near their house. I discovered this park accidentally because of the awesome waterfall and it just so happened to be minutes from where they live. Usually, the Crossroads counts as multiple locations but we made both spots work! Plus, we got an awesome sunset at the end of the night, so it really can’t be beat.

I did have a first at this session. Jessi and Hayden absolutely love Bud Light, so they decided they needed to shotgun a beer. I’ve had couples bring signature beverages before, but never to this extent. I love the personal touches the Bud Light brought to their session. We did attempt to do a champagne spray with the Bud Light, however, it was unsuccessful. The pictures are priceless though. I’ll leave these ones for their private gallery. 😂

Thanks Jessi and Hayden for hanging out with me for your Crossroads engagement session! Here’s your full preview!

– Hear from the couple –
How did he propose?
We were celebrating Hayden’s 30th birthday at the Lake of the Ozarks with all of our friends. Jessi tried to surprise Hayden with a chartered boat ride. The surprise came a few moments later after we boarded the boat and started to take off on the water. One of our friends told Jessi he was going to “ice” Hayden so we all had our cameras ready. Hayden got down on one to chug his Smirnoff ice and then pulled out the ring.
Question for the bride: what do you love most about him?
I love that Hayden has a heart of gold. He is a giant teddy bear but doesn’t always let people see that. I love how proud he is of his accomplishments and also of me. I love that he works hard to be the best at whatever he does.
Question for the groom: what do you love most about her?
Passionate, devoted, funny, loyal, best friend, trustworthy, extremely hard working, type a, organized, sexy
What’s your favorite part about wedding planning?
Jessi- I love looking for vendors and finding the perfect ones for us. It is the most exciting to sign the contract and cross it off the list! I also love that Hayden wants to be involved in the process and share his opinion.
Hayden- Getting it done so Jessi doesn’t worry about it.
What are you looking forward to most about your big day?
Jessi- I am most excited for Hayden to see me for the first time as I walk down the aisle. I have looked forward to this moment for so long and can’t wait to finally see his face when he sees me. After that special moment, I can’t wait to celebrate with our friends and family!
Hayden- Partying with our family and friends.
