Eagle Bluff Ranch Wedding | Kati + Brandon
Kati and Brandon had a beautiful and windy Eagle Bluff Ranch wedding on Saturday. Seriously, the winds were out of control, but this didn’t stop these two from fully enjoying their day at this gorgeous venue.

Despite the trouble with the wind, we were able to find a few locations that allowed us to take portraits without crazy amounts of hair everywhere. I will say, even though wind can be annoying, it does lead to some epic veil shots.
Even though Kati and Brandon decided against having a first look, Kati chose to have first looks with those who mean the most to her. She had a first look with her dad followed by her grandparents and grandma. Grandparents’ first looks are some of my favorites because the images are always filled with emotions. All three grandparents were brought to tears when they saw Kati in her dress.

I also loved how much Kati and Brandon prioritized family members who are no longer with us. Not only did they have a memory table, but everyone walked down the aisle with a picture frame of their loved one. These loved ones also received their own chair during the ceremony. Such a special way to include those special family members who were not able to be physically present.

These two even included their doggie as part of the ceremony. Nyvidia, their pup, was living her best life as she ran down the aisle to see Brandon. I would even say Nyvidia was more excited to see Brandon than Kati was. Kidding. She was also excited, but I’d never seen anyone (human or fur baby) run so quickly down the aisle.

Thank you Kati and Brandon for allowing me to be part of your Eagle Bluff Ranch wedding. I’ll never forget the moment Brandon almost dropped Kati in cow poop during our portraits. You’ll have to check out my Instagram for a full play-by-play of that action.

Share the inspiration and atmosphere you’re creating for your wedding:
We were going for a rustic chic inspiration, with an atmosphere centered around family, love and celebrating our new marriage.
Share how (or why) you chose your wedding venue(s):
The main reason we selected the venue was for the scenic views that over look the Missouri River… We knew with the amazing photographer we had, the magic that could be created with that view would be out of this WORLD!!! (side note… Kati actually hired me BEFORE they had the venue. I love it when a couple chooses their venue because it’ll work best with my style ❤️)
What is your most valuable piece of advice you can share with future couples planning their wedding?
Enjoy the planning and preparation prior it may seem stressful at the time, but some of the fondest memories we have are working together and planning the big day. You truly get to know your partner in more ways than you thought by planning a wedding together
What was your favorite part of the planning process?
My favorite part was working with Brandon and selecting items to truly make the wedding special and meaningful to us and what best represent our personality and relationship.
