James P Davis Hall Wedding | Sam + Dylan

I need to preface this by saying this is my wedding week. As much as I would like to write a book about Sam and Dylan's gorgeous wedding at James P Davis Hall, I unfortunately don't have time. Wedding planning is a lot of work and I'm so glad to be on the tail end of it!

Anyway, Sam and Dylan had an awesome day at James P Davis Hall. Nerdy details were abundant (wait until you see the cake) and we even had time to step away for a lightsaber fight. It was incredible and their love was so obvious.

Thank you so much for trusting me with your gorgeous day at James P Davis Hall!

Share your inspiration and the atmosphere you're creating for your wedding.

We are having a rustic/fall theme with some fandom inspiration [harry potter and star wars] We want everyone to enjoy the season and incorporate jack o lanterns, hay bales, and hot apple cider/hot chocolate. We want our guests to have a great experience and enjoy the things that Dylan and i love and what makes us unique.

Share how (or why) you chose your wedding venue(s).

We chose James P. Davis Hall, first and foremost because it is a beautiful venue and great cost!! I was blown away at how affordable it was and everything that we got in the package deal. My mom mentioned it and we took a tour and i was sold.

What is your most valuable piece of advice you can share with future couples planning their wedding?

Where do I start, lol!!! You will get input from everyone around you, and you will have to find your own method of replying to them, lol. I truly have enjoyed wedding planning[does drive you crazy sometimes], and it was always helpful to have a wedding app to look at what needs to get done in a timely fashion. It's a great time to get to know your future spouse as well. Enjoy every bit of it, and make your wedding day special and personal.

What was your favorite part of the planning process?

I loved picking out vendors [weird huh, lol]. I would stress out about the small stuff, but enjoyed picking out the big details. Also, enjoying and getting Dylan's input showed me how important our wedding/marriage is to him.
