It’s officially engagement time for my 2023 couples! Bridget, Rolo, and I had such a fun Kansas City engagement session exploring Loose Park and the Crossroads. They even brought their doggie, Simon, along for a few shots!

Both Loose Park and the Crossroads are two of my favorite locations in Kansas City. Yes, they are done a lot, but every session still feels so unique and special.

Thanks to my friend Amanda with Studio A Salon, Bridget came styled to impress. Styled sessions are offered as an upgrade to every engagement session, which I always recommend. Who wouldn’t want to get hair and makeup professionally done to rock the session?

How did he propose?

We went on a spontaneous trip to Atlanta with a couple of good friends for an Eric Church and George Straight concert! Right before Eric Church walked off stage, Rolando grabbed the ring he was hiding in his boot and popped the question! It was almost like a movie!

Question for the bride: what do you love most about him?

His loyalty and commitment! No matter what he never backs out of plans once they’re set in stone. I appreciate that he can balance his schedule while making sure my needs are always met.

Question for the groom: what do you love most about her?

You know the saying opposites attract?
I love that she is the opposite of me! While I’m head in the clouds she keeps me grounded.

What’s your favorite part about wedding planning?

Bridget’s: The checklists! Crossing off tasks no matter how big or small makes the choices worth it. Plus it’s like a little countdown to our big day!
Rolando’s: The entertainment aspects. Planning everything that will let our guest know we appreciate them coming to be with us!
