Laura and Ben had a steamy Kansas City engagement session...and not just because it was a super hot day. These two were on fire the entire session, literally and figuratively.
When Laura first contacted me about engagement pictures, I was super excited about it! She's a referral from a current 2021 bride who is awesome, so I knew these two would be just as fun. They're getting married in Portugal, so unfortunately I won't be part of their wedding day, but at least I was able to do their engagement photos.
We started the session at the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art to get some iconic Kansas City engagement pictures complete with shuttlecocks and plenty of greenery. The session ended at Liberty Memorial, so they could get a beautiful sunset shot overlooking the city.
These two came dressed to impress. Not only did Laura have one beautiful gown, she had two more to add plenty of variety to the session. I love it when I see a couple decked out in formal attire for the session!

Researching Portugal since that is where we're getting married but have never visited.

Having family from America and England come together.
