Emily and Kyle had a gorgeous Legacy at Green Hills wedding on Saturday, even if the weather decided not to be the most cooperative.

The universe has decided the last couple Legacy at Green Hills weddings I've had needed to be rained out, but thankfully I was working with the wonderful The Veil KC both times. LaTasha is the most fantastic human and was able to move the ceremony indoors with a moment's notice.
I've mentioned this before, but the #1 reason to hire a wedding planner is to have someone switch around your entire plan at the last minute! You don't want the stress of your family and friends needing to move everything indoors when the weather decides not to cooperate.

Despite the cold and rain, Emily and Kyle seemed to be having the best time with their friends and family. They didn't leave the dance floor all night long and were down for every crazy photo idea I had. At one point, I was even hanging out in a tree. Thanks Kyle (my husband Kyle...yeah it was confusing) for allowing me to get on your shoulders to capture these epic shots. He doesn't get paid enough for what he does for me 😂

Thank you Emily and Kyle for allowing us to be part of your gorgeous Legacy at Green Hills wedding! Here's your full preview!

Share the inspiration and atmosphere you're creating for your wedding:
One aspect when creating our wedding vision that was most important to us was getting married in a beautiful outdoor space surrounded by nature. We wanted to create a wedding atmosphere that incorporated traditional and romantic elements. We also wanted to incorporate bright spring colors and lush garden style florals.
Share how (or why) you chose your wedding venue(s):
Getting married surrounded by nature was very important to Kyle and I. We loved the beautiful outdoor space to have the ceremony in and the large inside covered space that could be used in case of rain. We also loved the farm house that the bridal party could celebrate and prepare for the wedding.
