Audrey and Adam had a beautiful Liberty Memorial engagement session on Sunday.
Audrey and I have been planning their engagement session for months, and when we discovered Liberty Memorial was under construction, we postponed so we could utilize the gorgeous skyline. However, when I arrived on Sunday, there was an event that still blocked off the view. We made the most of it and did our entire session down below and then went to Kauffman for a few more pictures.
These two are so adorable together. Audrey described them as awkward people, but seriously, these two could not take a bad picture if they tried. They were actually a referral from one of my favorite 2020 brides, so I knew they would be super fun to work with!
Thank you so much Audrey and Adam for a fun Liberty Memorial engagement session and I can’t wait for your wedding in a few short months!
How did he propose?
Adam proposed to me on my 30th birthday celebration. We went to Stonehaus Winery in Lee’s Summit and I knew some of my girlfriends were going to be there, but I just thought it was going to be a girls day. When we got there, several of our friends were there and then both his parents and my parents showed up! We went to take pictures on the dock and when I turned around, he was down on one knee. It was perfect! He did amazing!
Question for the bride: what do you love most about him?
There are several things that I love about him! I love that he is always striving to be his best and that he pushes me to be my best. He is an extremely hard worker and very dedicated to the things he is passionate about. I love that he has a close relationship with his family. I love that he can be serious when needed and goofy too. I also love his eyes. They are beautiful. I also really enjoy that he can cook. I would have starved to death by now if it wasn’t for him ?
Question for the groom: what do you love most about her?
There are also a few things I love about her. First off, I love her carefulness, putting others before herself. She would rather starve and lose sleep if it meant her close ones were comfortable. I also love how easy she is to get along with. There’s not a whole lot of people I can spend more than a day with, but this past year (mandatory 2 weeks stuck with each other) has shown I actually need her company. More importantly, I love that she loves me.
What’s your favorite part about wedding planning?
I’m not sure we have a favorite part of wedding planning yet ? Although we get to go cake testing soon and we are both pretty stoked for that.
What are you looking forward to most about your big day?
Personally, I am looking forward most to seeing how Adam reacts to everything. The look on his face when we see each other for the first time and just the all around joy and wholesomeness that the day brings with it.
