Cassie and Robbie had an absolutely gorgeous Loose Park engagement session on Sunday! Since Loose Park began requiring a photography permit, I’ve stayed away as much as possible, but that rose garden will always have a special place in my heart. When Cassidy mentioned Loose Park, I was so ready to get that permit and begin shooting at this gorgeous location once again.
These two are getting married next June at one of my new favorite venues, The Haven Event Space. The venue isn’t even built yet, but the owner is pulling out all the stops to make it absolutely incredible. I’m honored to be a preferred vendor and spend a lot of time there in the future.
Cassidy chose to book my styled engagement session with Amanda from Studio A Salon, so I knew she would come dressed to impress. Amanda did such a good job that she’ll be joining us on the wedding day. Yay! Robbie didn’t look too shabby either in a nice suit jacket.
Cassidy and Robbie are so fun together! It was obvious how much they enjoyed spending time with each other and having a blast. The rose garden definitely didn’t disappoint either. Flowers were just starting to bloom, but we were able to find a couple nice bushes to pose with.
Thank you Cassidy and Robbie for a fun session! Here’s your preview! More to come shortly!
Hear from the couple –
How did he propose?
Robbie proposed on March 6th at White Tail Run Winery. It started as just a fun Saturday afternoon, White Tail was having a s’mores event that we wanted to go to. We went with my (Cassidy’s) parents. As we were enjoying some wine and s’mores, I suddenly saw some people I recognized. It was my sister, brother in law, and nephew who had just moved to Florida in November. They had a story about being in town for my brother in law’s job that I believed every word of. Then, my dad started talking about how great it was to have the family all together. This led into Robbie going into a speech about his thankfulness for my family loving and accepting him and his daughter, Vera. He then turned to me and told me how thankful he is for me and the love and support I give (and other sweet lovey dovey things) and then he proposed!
Question for the bride: what do you love most about him?
I love how goofy he is. Robbie can always make me laugh and smile even when I’m in the worst mood. He always makes me feel beautiful and loved.
Question for the groom: what do you love most about her?
Besides her butt? Her personality, she is incredibly kind and is always willing to put others first. She makes me feel cared and loved for.
What’s your favorite part about wedding planning?
Seeing my ideas come together! I’ve always been creative. I love working with colors and design so to be able to put this creativity to use is fun and rewarding for me.
What are you looking forward to most about your big day?
Just being married!
