Loose Park Engagement | Jess + RJ

With three sessions and two weddings this week, I've been trying to crank out previews like crazy. Last night, I hung out with Jess and RJ for their Loose Park engagement session!

Leading up to the day, there was nothing but rain in the forecast. Since Jess and RJ were coming in from California, we couldn't exactly reschedule. So, we decided to embrace the rain! Thankfully it was only a few sprinkles and we completely missed the torrential downpour.

These two are so fun together! RJ said taking pictures is one of his least favorite things to do, but you can't tell from looking through these images. The were perfectly comfortable loving on each other and enjoying this time.

I'm going to avoid writing a book about them because I have to head out to today's wedding, but October 2022 can't come soon enough! I'm thrilled to work with one of my favorite planners, Confetti Events, and make their day incredible!

Here's a preview of your Loose Park engagement session! More to come shortly!

Also special thanks to my amazing assistant, aka Jess's mom, for helping with the umbrellas and rose petal toss.

Hear from the couple -

How did he propose?

We were in Tahoe with 10 college friends. When I woke up Saturday morning, RJ was no where to be found and all of our friends were acting VERY suspicious. While I was getting ready for the day, a mysterious index card with a poem/scavenger hunt clue appeared in the bathroom. (At this point I started crying because I could already tell what was happening, lol) The poem on that card led me to one of our friends, who then handed me another card with another poem leading to another friend. The last card led me to the beach at South Lake Tahoe where RJ was waiting to propose!

Question for the bride: what do you love most about him?

I love that he is supportive of everything I want to do. We really are teammates and partners in every sense of the word.

Question for the groom: what do you love most about her?

She is driven and always accomplishes what she sets out to do.

What's your favorite part about wedding planning?

Scrolling through all the vendor's instagram feeds! It's so fun to shop around that way

What are you looking forward to most about your big day?

RJ - yard games and fun with friends and family
Jess - celebrating with people we don't get the opportunity to see all together. We are in CA, our families are in MO and MA, and our friends are spread out all over the country. It is going to be so special to have everyone under one roof!
