Shawnee Mission Park Engagement | Ashlyn + Mitchell

It's officially Fall and I'm loving seeing all the Fall colors at my Shawnee Mission Park engagement sessions!

Ashlyn and Mitchell had a perfect-picture session. The weather was perfect and these two seemed to have such a great time with each other. The best engagement sessions are ones where the couple really enjoys laughing and going along with all my crazy prompts. These two were no exception.

How did he propose?

Mitchell proposed while we were on a carriage ride looking at the Plaza lights! It was really romantic, just the two of us! Immediately after we went to a surprise engagement party that he had planned with all our family and friends.

Question for the bride: what do you love most about him?

Mitchell’s integrity is what I love most about him! He’s the most genuine, honest, and loyal person I’ve ever met. The love we share together is forever!

Question for the groom: what do you love most about her?

What I love most about Ashlyn is her determination and her compassion that she puts towards others in our lives.

What's your favorite part about wedding planning?

Our favorite part about wedding planning is having the time to make good and thoughtful decisions! We have a longer engagement (1 year and 9 months) so it allows us time to really think about what we want for our big day!
