Shawnee Mission Park Engagement | Trista + Matt
Fall engagement sessions are currently in full swing and I had such a fun time with Trista and Matt for their Shawnee Mission engagement session!

When Trista and I were discussing locations, she told me she was going to be “boring” and choose Shawnee Mission Park. Yes Shawnee Mission Park is one of my most visited locations, but there is nothing boring about it. Although we didn’t see too many changing trees, we were able to explore some of my favorite hidden gem locations.
Thank you Trista and Matt for a great Shawnee Mission Park engagement session! Here’s your full preview!

– Hear from the couple –
How did he propose?
We took a trip to Duluth, MN and one day we drove the North Shore to the Canadian/US border. We had stopped at different parks to hike different trails and our final trail was to a set of waterfalls where we could see the Canadian side. We were the only people there and had gone to each vantage point of the waterfall. On the final view, Matt said he needed to get something out of his pack and when I turned around he was on one knee with the ring.
Question for the bride: what do you love most about him?
