Another gorgeous Shawnee Mission Park engagement session in the books!
When Whitney and I started planning their engagement session, she knew they wanted Fall. I happened to have a cancellation on this date making it the only weekend day left in the Fall, but the forecasted rain threatened to ruin our session.

We debated on cancelling, but ultimately went forward with it and I'm so glad we did. The rain held off completely. It was a little windy, but nothing we couldn't work with! The sun even came out toward the end of the session allowing us to get some epic sunset photos.
Thanks Whitney, Jordan, and Ranger for a fun Shawnee Mission Park Engagement session! Can't wait to celebrate with you two at one of my favorite venues on my anniversary next year!

- Hear from the couple -
How did he propose?
Jordan proposed during our summer vacation. We went back to Sarasota, Florida because we loved it so much. We ate dinner on the beach at this fancy restaurant that we both enjoyed the last time we visited. After dinner we went out on the patio to take pictures with the sunset. Jordan's mother was taking our picture and then Jordan turned me towards him to pop the question. I was very happy!
Question for the bride: what do you love most about him?
I love his sense of humor. He always knows how to make me laugh. I enjoy most moments hanging out with him whether we are going out or just hanging out at home with our dog. Whenever I am upset or nervous he somehow knows what to say to make me feel better and comforted.
Question for the groom: what do you love most about her?
Everything!
What's your favorite part about wedding planning?
It is fun getting to experience this together! Plus the food tastings and looking forward to the party!
What are you looking forward to most about your big day?
Celebrating with our closest friends and family!
