Kayla and Michael had an absolutely perfect Gatsby on Oak wedding! From the weather to the emotions, the day couldn't have been more perfect.
These two are so sweet together. I loved watching them interact together and just have a blast surrounded by all their friends and family. It was so fun to watch. Plus, the Gatsby on Oak is a stunning venue! There's not a part I don't love. Cassie, their wedding planning, and her team made every part of the space look absolutely amazing!

Share the inspiration and atmosphere you're creating for your wedding:
The atmosphere we are trying to create for the wedding is a more elegant style with gold and emerald green with touches of sparkle. We love that the Gatsby has a vintage, historical 1920's vibe.
Share how (or why) you chose your wedding venue(s):
We chose the Gatsby on Oak as our wedding venue for a variety of reasons. The main reasons we picked this venue was the stunning aesthetic that it provides, and the fact that the building has so much history which Kayla loves.
What is your most valuable piece of advice you can share with future couples planning their wedding?
I think the best advice we can give to future couples planning their wedding is to understand what aspects of the wedding are more of a priority for each person. You don't want to down play a part of the wedding that may be a higher priority for the bride/groom, as well as giving that person more freedom if they want to put more time and effort into that area. And as always, the planning should be a fun experience. At the end of the day it is a celebration of your love and not an objective that needs to be checked off.
What was your favorite part of the planning process?
Michael's favorite part of the planning was the food/dessert tastings and picking out groom attire and gifts. Kayla's favorite part was the food/dessert tastings and seeing everything slowly come together to create the vision we had for the wedding.
