The Haven Event Space Wedding | Hannah + Ryan

Hannah and Ryan had a beautiful Haven Event Space wedding.

Like most couples, they wanted a rain-free day. While the majority of the day cooperated, a downpour happened right before the ceremony. That didn't stop these two from having a gorgeous outdoor ceremony though! I may be biased since I had an outdoor ceremony with rain, but I absolutely love it when a couple embraces the weather and goes through with their original plans.

Thankfully the rain stopped halfway through the ceremony and we were able to stay dry during portraits.

My favorite part of the day had to be the way Ryan talked about seeing Hannah for the first time. Leading up to the ceremony, I asked Ryan if he thought he would get emotional. He responded with saying he isn't sure how he will even stand up when he sees his beautiful bride for the first time. His emotions throughout the day were priceless.

Share the inspiration and atmosphere you're creating for your wedding:

We want a very timeless and classic wedding but is also still us. We aren't the "classic" type people so there are definitely accents of us throughout it all as well. The reception will be a PARTY!!!

Share how (or why) you chose your wedding venue(s):

We chose the Haven Event Space because we could tell every little detail was thought about when creating the space. A big part of knowing this was the right venue was when Ryan (groom) slightly teared up when walking into the reception area. It was also hard to not fall in love with the venue because of Blake and Taylor!!

What is your most valuable piece of advice you can share with future couples planning their wedding?

If you like to procrastinate, have a short engagement.

What was your favorite part of the planning process?

Talking about fun moments or things that we will get to experience together on our wedding day! Neither of us are huge planners, so when something actually was finally planned, I think we really enjoyed celebrating that, lol.
