Thomas Stoll Park Engagement | Baili + Scott

Baili and Scott had such a fun Thomas Stoll Park engagement session in Overland Park although this wasn't the original plan. We met at Heritage Park only to find the entire park was under construction. With some quick Googling, we found Thomas Stoll Park only a couple miles away.

Thomas Stoll was the perfect place for these pictures. From a gorgeous lake to a breathtaking sunset, we were able to capture so much even without having the advantage of knowing the park in advance.

Thanks Baili and Scott for going with the flow! Here's your preview and can't wait for your wedding in a month!

How did he propose?

Scott proposed on our 3 year anniversary. We were living in Colorado at the time but Scott was working out of town so he set up a cabin in Breckenridge and our plan was to meet there. When I arrived there was a love letter on the door that I immediately read. Then when I entered the cabin, Scott was at the bottom of the stairs on one knee. He asked the question and I said yes! When I got down the stairs to him I was also greeted by my closest friends and family. It was such a special day.

Question for the bride: what do you love most about him?

I love that Scott is patient and kind in all scenarios. While that may not be the most romantic answer I could give, it's the most truthful. Scott is my safe place and knowing that I have somebody I can truly fall on when needed is a huge blessing.

Question for the groom: what do you love most about her?

Her smile. How she makes my day better just by hearing her voice. How I still get butterflies when I see her. Her determination in anything she does. How She is a best friend and a lifelong partner all in one.

What's your favorite part about wedding planning?

The cake tasting was fun, but hearing everybody reminisce about their own weddings or love stories as been amazing too.

What are you looking forward to most about your big day?

Having all of our friends and family together and having a good time.
