Timber Creek Event Center Wedding | Alyssa + Herb

Alyssa and Herb had such a beautiful wedding day on Saturday at Timber Creek Event Center in St. Joe. Every detail of their day was intrinsically planned out, from the handmaid bouquets to the custom stationery suite. They even had custom cookies made, and they sure were delicious.

The day started with Alyssa getting ready in the gorgeous bridal suite at Timber Creek Event Center. This venue definitely thought of everything. We had beautiful window light and plenty of seating for all members of her bridal party.

After we were able to get some incredible getting ready shots, we moved on to a precious first look. It was so obvious how much Herb and Alyssa cared about each other. Alyssa mentioned how much she was worried about standing up in front of everyone, but it seemed like all her worries disappeared as soon as she saw the way Herb looked at her in her beautiful dress.

We finished the early part of the day with portraits, surrounded by tons of greenery. As much as I love the city, nothing truly beats greenery. When it came time for the ceremony, the venue truly designed this space with photography in mind. I was a little worried going into the morning when all the clouds disappeared, but we still had a gorgeous shaded area for the ceremony. I'm always worried about the ceremony taking place during the harshest light of the day. The light may have been harsh, but the arbor was perfectly shaded for them to exchange their vows.

Toward the end of the ceremony, the officiant (Alyssa's uncle) got ready to pronounce them as Alyssa and Herb stared at him in confusion. He left off the first kiss and everyone started bursting out in laughter. He said, "Oh, I guess you want to kiss him, don't you?" We all laughed as they exchanged their first kiss.

The incredible day didn't end with the ceremony. The reception was exquisitely decorated with candles on each table and a mouthwatering dessert display. On top of the incredible decor, Alyssa and Herb served a taco bar and pasta bar. Why choose one when you can have both???

We ended the night with some fun lawn games. Since the weather could not have been more perfect, half the guests chose to stay outside and socialize instead of having a dance party. I loved watching Alyssa and Herb have the opportunity to spend time with every guest.

The night wouldn't be complete without some breathtaking night shots. Alyssa and Herb truly valued photography and were more than happy to take portraits several times throughout the night. The ceremony area lit up with twinkly lights as we took a few shots in the dark.
