Krystal and Clay had an absolutely beautiful wedding at the Timber Ridge Event Center in Amazonia, Missouri on Saturday.
The day started with a vast array of decorations, documenting every moment of their lives. Krystal and Clay were high school sweethearts. They started dating sophomore year of high school and went on to nursing school together. Now, after beginning their lives in the nursing field, it was time to officially join their lives to each other.
It was so amazing watching the love and kindness these two have for themselves and everyone around them. They wanted their day to be a beautiful celebration detailing the journey they took to get to this moment.
Despite it being a hot 90 degree day in an outside barn, the weather could not have been more perfect. The clouds came out at just the right time to give us perfectly diffused light during the ceremony and even more epic light for their sunset session. Krystal and Clay also surrounded themselves with the most fun wedding party who started their day with laughter in the bridal suite and ended with crazy dancing on the dance floor.
Speaking of the wedding party, one of my favorite moments of the day was right after we began taking portraits. Suddenly the bridesmaids started screaming and running away followed by a snake slithering back into the woods. After a minor freakout from everyone involved, we picked back up (in a safe location) and continued to take so many more fun portraits.
To Krystal and Clay, I loved watching your love over the past year. You threw such an epic party that was true to your journey and your relationship. Thank you for including me. Have a great time in the Dominican Republic.
