Union Horse Distilling Co Wedding | Trista + Matt

Trista and Matt had a beautiful Union Horse Distilling Co Wedding Reception with a ceremony at Queen of the Holy Rosary.

With all the crazy weather we have been experiencing lately, I totally expected to not luck out on Saturday. Thankfully, the day couldn't have been more perfect. We had a 70-degree and sunny day, perfect for our Loose Park portraits.

After working around hundreds of others enjoying this beautiful wedding, I took Trista and Matt on an adventure throughout the park. We found a beautiful lavender push that just so happened to be swarming with bees. These two didn't mind and went along with all my ideas.

My favorite part of the day had to be when we stopped at Chick-fil-A. Before the wedding, Trista jokingly said they might need to make a pit stop in the party bus and I was totally on board. I've never stopped at a fast-food restaurant with a wedding party before, so might as well complete this experience on my bucket list.

Trista and Matt are such a fun couple. Even throughout the ceremony, they glanced at each other constantly and laughed through every minute of it. It's common to have a couple so wrapped up in the emotions of the day that they forget to enjoy this time spent with each other. That was definitely not the case for these two.

Even during the reception, they couldn't keep their hands off each other. It was fun to watch them casually kiss on the dance floor while simultaneously entertaining their guests with their dance moves. I'm looking at you, Matt. Trista too, but Matt was especially fun to watch on the dance floor.

I have to give a quick shout-out to their wedding party as well. Compliments from the couple are always special, but I love it when a groomsman tells me how awesome we are. I appreciate that more than words can describe.

Thank you so much Trista and Matt for laughing with me and choosing me to photograph your beautiful Union Horse Distilling Co wedding! Here's your full preview! Now have a blast on your honeymoon!

The church is where Trista was baptized and confirmed in 2021 and Father Bill was the priest who conducted the classes for conversion. Union Horse had such an elegant and intimate feel and just loved their attention to detail in their decor and design

What is your most valuable piece of advice you can share with future couples planning their wedding?

Sit back and enjoy, don't overthink or overdo. Enjoy the time with one another in planning and of course, enjoy the cake testing!

What was your favorite part of the planning process?

Dress shopping in addition to planning with Matt right alongside. Matt was such a great help and provided his input and thoughts. Plus, just to see that our ideas aligned was pretty awesome too.
