It's always nerve-wracking photographing other photographers, but when Traci and Jason hired me to shoot their wedding, I couldn't be more honored. As portrait/boudoir photographers, I knew our specialties were very different. Still, I couldn't help but feel like every move I made would be scrutinized.
Fortunately, when we met up for our West Bottoms engagement session, I was so relieved to find these two are probably the most chill photographers ever. They went along with every one of my poses and trusted my judgment throughout the entire session. I know whenever I'm photographed, I critique the photographers every move, so it was nice to work with a couple who understood the process while still allowing me the freedom to work. I even mentioned stopping for pretty light in the middle of a street with a very unappealing background. They understood my thought process and the results were wonderful.
The session started by including their adorable doggie Chloe. Nothing makes me happier than having the ability to work with pets. Chloe was extremely excited to be there to celebrate her human's big moment.
The session date was also extremely important because it marked Traci and Jason's four-year anniversary. Thank you so much for spending this day with me! I had a blast and can't wait until your wedding in a few short months!
